Solar Hot Water System Replacement.
Utilising existing components saves customer money.
We recently helped an Avalon homeowner whose Thermann solar hot water system had developed a serious leak. The tank had split, causing water to pour from the unit. Thankfully, it was located outside the home, avoiding internal damage.
Over the phone, our technician John helped the customer isolate the water supply to minimise further loss. Onsite, he confirmed the storage tank was beyond repair, but the rooftop panels, sensors, and pump were still in good working condition.
We recommended a Thermann Solar Electric Tank 250L (TH250GLG) — an efficient, Australian-owned solution that matched their existing system. The new tank was installed on the spot, and the system recommissioned using the original components where suitable. Hot water was restored within hours, and the customer had peace of mind knowing the job was done right.

Gas Hot Water System Repair.
Fast and reliable assistance.
A Beacon Hill customer contacted us when their gas hot water system suddenly stopped working. With no hot water and a busy household, they needed help fast.
Our technician Steve was onsite shortly after the call. Thanks to our fully stocked vehicles, he had all the necessary parts on hand and carried out the repairs immediately — no delays, no return visits.
He also performed a full system service to ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability. When we left, the customer had hot water again and the reassurance that their system had been properly serviced and professionally maintained.

Electric Hot Water System Repair
Water heater service after an unusual infestation.
A Seaforth homeowner called us after noticing their hot water was gradually cooling, only to wake the next day with none at all. The problem? A large ant infestation inside the electric water heater.
Ants had built a nest around the wiring and thermostat, causing short circuits and corrosion. We cleared the infestation, replaced the damaged thermostat, and performed a full system service — flushing the tank, checking the anode rod, testing the elements, and confirming all components were safe.
We also recommended the customer contact pest control and seal nearby access points. Within hours, the system was fully operational, and the homeowner had reliable hot water once again.

Solar Hot Water System Replacement
Solar installation made easy.
In North Manly, we were called to replace an ageing solar hot water system that had become inefficient. After assessing the home’s setup, we recommended a Rheem Solar Highline — a high-performance, Australian-made system known for durability and energy savings.
To reduce disruption, we installed the new system in the existing rooftop position, using our MightyLift lifting equipment to safely manoeuvre the heavy tank and panels into place. The installation was completed quickly and without risk of damage or delay.
The new system was commissioned the same day, providing instant improvements in performance and reliability, and long-term energy savings for the homeowner.

Emergency Gas Hot Water System Repair
Emergency assistance after fire damage.
In Curl Curl, a customer experienced a rare but serious emergency — their gas hot water system caught fire. Thankfully, they extinguished the flames safely, and we were onsite within the hour to assess and secure the system.
The unit was beyond repair. After a full inspection, we replaced it with a Rheem Stellar 330, featuring a 130L tank, fast 200L/hr recovery, and a 5-star energy efficiency rating. The system was installed and operational within a few hours.
This incident is a strong reminder that regular servicing (every five years) can detect wear and prevent dangerous faults before they occur.

Heat Pump Repair.
Fixing a leaking heat pump.
We were contacted by a homeowner in Terrey Hills whose Rheem heat pump had started leaking. The system was beyond repair, but the customer had been happy with its energy efficiency and wanted a similar replacement.
We recommended the Rheem Ambiheat HDc270, a next-gen 270L heat pump built for Australian conditions. It features microchannel heating technology, quiet operation, and smart controls — making it a top choice for households wanting long-term performance with lower energy use.
Once installed, the customer had reliable, efficient hot water again — and peace of mind that their investment would deliver comfort and savings for years to come.
